Hi Syd, I am currently working on the release notes and found some things in standoff: 1. <standOff> is defined in the textstructure module but the fourth bullet point in textstructure says that it is defined in the linking module and refers to section 16.9.2 The standoff Container, see https://jenkins.tei-c.org/job/TEIP5-dev/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/P5/rel… 1. In the <standOff> spec * The description of an element in <desc> usually starts with a lower-case letter (functions as a container ...) * There should be a reference to the GLs in the element description, eg. to SA.html#SASOstdf Best, Martina

Refridge

Dear Council, We are in the middle of the “refridge phase” which means that we are getting really busy 😊 Please don’t commit major changes to the schema (except if they have been tested in a branch like standoff and unihan); minor changes (wording, typos, examples) are fine. Freeze is on Monday, which means no more changes can be done in the dev branch after that. There are 35 open issues labeled with “milestone 3.7.0” https://github.com/TEIC/TEI/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+milestone%3A%22Gu… Please remove the milestone from those issues, that won’t go into the upcoming release. change in date of next Stylesheets meeting

100% of the people at today's Stylehseets meeting cannot make the next scheduled date, Tue 03 Mar 20. Thus we would like to move it to Tue 17 Mar 20 (St. Patrick's Day). I have already changed it on the Google Calendar. (Didn't know I had that power! :-) But if there are objections ...

With great thanks to Peter, Martin, and Martina the changes have been reviewed. I've addressed almost all the issues mentioned (still hoping someone can come up with better wording than "makes explicit the multiplicity of the collection"). Mr. Jenkins is happy with the sydb-standOff branch, and it builds fine locally on my machine here. (Not perfectly, but no worse than the dev branch.)-: So I think perhaps it is time to wrap in the sydb-standOff branch into dev, yes? Any objections?

Internationalization working group proposal

Dear all, as discussed in our last call, we (the group who met at the Scholarly Communication Institute in Chapel Hill to discuss "TEI and internationalization") want to establish a working group on "Internationalization (I18n)".
