Hi Hugh, I think it is probably better just to make it common knowledge by reminding us lots that in writing good commit messages (not the crappy ones I tend to use) that avoiding the word 'error' and the word 'warning' are probably good ideas. FYI I'm pretty sure it is possible to tell Jenkins to ignore specific messages, so there's a workaround available if you have a case where you really WANT to say "error" :-). Hi Syd, I had that problem the other week with some otherwise benign changes where I mentioned "Error in listObject Example" (26 October) https://github.com/TEIC/TEI/commits you'll see immediately after I committed "inconsequential commit to trick Jenkins". This is because the way Jenkins flags whether there is an error or not is parsing the console output for the word 'error'. location for F2F meeting

November 16 Monthly Hangout--probably missing

Dear Council: I'm almost certainly going to miss the Council meeting on Friday November 16 due to a flight I'm taking to visit my old dissertation advisor in Maine that day. I'd tried to book it later in the evening but there weren't flights. I'd be arriving at a tiny airport in Rockland, Maine right around when the meeting starts, and with all the fuss of seeing an old mentor after more than a decade, I doubt I'm going to be able to join the Hangout. I'm bringing my headphones just in case it works out--there's a chance I could maybe join late. Sorry!
