Our homework from the last session was for each of us to come up with
a solution and a test file. But we also realized that having a
comprehensive idea of what should be happening is a good idea. So it
seems to me & Martin that our first step should be deciding what the
proper outcome is for each combination of the various flavors of the
various constructs involved (e.g., adding a new attribute to a list
that is a closed list). To that end we have started developing a
comprehensive test file and table of the possible combinations on the
ticket.
