Freeze reminder

Hello, I think you are all aware of this, but here's a reminder anyway: there is currently a *temporary freeze of commits* to the repository. This is because of the release scheduled for Monday April 6. Please do not commit anything else to the repository until the freeze is lifted (likely sometime on Monday). Thanks, Raff

We're scheduled to remove @degree in 7.5 months. Should we be removing it from examples now?
