Dear All, It was great seeing you all last week. It felt like we got a lot done, and I really appreciate your hard work. I’m writing to ask who among us is willing to serve as a mentor to our new members. We’ll have three people who’ve never been on Council before, and one (Elli) who missed the repo move and may want some guidance on Git/GitHub stuff, so that’s three, maybe four people. I’d be happy to help Elli out if she needs it, since we talk fairly frequently anyway. Hugh
Hi all, As one of the reasons I stood for election again was to help with such transitions (and finish off some of the things I've been working on), I would be happy to be a mentor. I would volunteer to mentor Martina (since I know her from some DiXiT things and Magdalena might be sick of me, and after 20 months of sharing an office her DiXiT fellowship is ending soon.) -James On 02/11/15 16:59, Hugh Cayless wrote:

Happy to help - unless I'm still technically a mentee.

I'm happy to mentor someone, but it would be from outside Council, of course. I've worked with Elisa on some XQuery, so she knows me. Cheers, Martin On 15-11-02 09:07 AM, Raffaele Viglianti wrote:
