Fwd: Quick confirmation before we re-release the plugin

As I tested this yesterday, I'll pop over to my Linux machine and check it out now... stay tuned! --Elisa On Tue, Dec 20, 2016 at 2:18 PM, Hugh Cayless <philomousos@gmail.com> wrote:

Hmmm--I can't seem to update that plugin--there doesn't seem to be an update available? --Elisa On Tue, Dec 20, 2016 at 2:20 PM, Elisa Beshero-Bondar <ebb8@pitt.edu> wrote:

Hi all-- I'm trying to test the updated plugin, but I can't seem to get hold of it. I'm using the same oXygen installed on my Linux machine that I used yesterday to test the syriaca.ODD, and it was the right plugin yesterday. Today, when I go to update it, I don't see any available updates... Help? Elisa On Tue, Dec 20, 2016 at 2:32 PM, Hugh Cayless <philomousos@gmail.com> wrote:

Well, whatever I'm using still can't produce RNG XML from Syriaca--same error as yesterday--because I can't seem to update it. Here's the problematic plugin I've got: Version 6.1.0, oXygen 15.2+ Type: Framework I'm on oXygen 18.1, but I see I need a new maintenance build--should I install that or just wait? I am running oxygen 17.1 with version 3.1.6 of the Framework which says it is "DEVELOPMENT BUILD of the Oxygen TEI plugin based on the current trunk versions of TEI P5 and the TEI Stylesheets.Jenkins build number: 2016-12-20-100744. ". And it runs just fine. On 20/12/16 19:47, Elisa Beshero-Bondar wrote:

Okay--someone want to point me to where i can subscribe to the Development build? Apparently I've not been working from it... Don't mind being subscribed for this purpose. Elisa On Tue, Dec 20, 2016 at 2:53 PM, Lou Burnard <lou.burnard@retired.ox.ac.uk> wrote:

I am happy to report SUCCESS in building the Relax-NG XML from Syriaca, once I installed the latest bleeding-edge development build plugin. I think we're good to go, then. Thanks indeed everybody. Sorry for not catching this before release, but it was seriously weird and obscure. I still don't have a key for tei-c.org on my work desktop; James, could you re-run step 17 as you did last Thursday, when you get a chance? Then we should all try subscribing temporarily to the stable plugin and test again before we announce it. This problem has caused me to think again about this: <https://github.com/TEIC/TEI/issues/464> and oddly enough it's suggested a possible method of doing such tests (creating a series of shell commands copy-pasted from the Oxygen output window which can be run outside Oxygen). It would have caught this particular bug, but it would have caught the PDF processing bug that's been there for ages: <https://github.com/TEIC/oxygen-tei/issues/15> Cheers, Martin On 2016-12-20 03:56 PM, Hugh Cayless wrote:

Anyone around on IRC? I'd like to double-check my steps before doing so. Is there anything I need to do first before building than just git pull? (i.e. no branches to merge, etc.) I'd numbered it 6.1.0 last time (because it was both a stylesheets and guidelines update) ... what should the number be this time? -James On 21/12/16 00:34, Martin Holmes wrote:

So just paranoidly double-checking... I am using the same 3.1.0 TEI release and 7.42.0 Stylesheets release that are currently live. (i.e. there are no changes in the Stylesheets as part of the fix.) I'll proceed on that assumption, but shout if I'm wrong. Enjoy your holiday lunch... I hope you are wearing a brightly coloured christmas paper hat, and a sweater with a reindeer on it or something. -James On 21/12/16 17:07, Hugh Cayless wrote:

I agree: 6.1.1. It should pull from the released versions of TEI and Stylesheets, with the only change being to the oxygen-tei frameset code. Don't forget to git-pull the oxygen-tei repo before building. I'm on IRC now. Cheers, Martin On 2016-12-21 09:17 AM, James Cummings wrote:

I've done the ant release, it is live on tei-c.org and SF. I'll tag it on github and such things now. -james On 21/12/16 17:23, Martin Holmes wrote:

Hi Elisa, If you have 6.1, then you just have the stable version, not the bleeding edge version. Bleeding-edge is at 3.1.6 (for historical reasons). This is what you'd see if you had the bleeding-edge version. Your stable version won't update until we release it, and we want to test before we do that.
