Dear all, I'm a bit confused about the Jenkins build process. The last build is from 5 days ago but a lot of commits were made yesterday. Best, Martina Mag. Maybe because the Documentation build is broken? http://teijenkins.hcmc.uvic.ca/job/TEIP5-Documentation-dev/ I'm taking a look at it now. On Thu, Jan 18, 2018 at 7:14 AM, Mylonas, Elli <elli_mylonas@brown.edu> wrote:

The build got fixed yesterday, and this is still a problem. I think the Victoria Jenkins is failing to respond to GitHub updates on TEIC/TEI. As far as I can tell, it's only running builds in response to Stylesheets changes. Meanwhile, the Paderborn build is broken because of some sort of Debian error that the Victoria one doesn't exhibit... I think we'd better get this sorted out before we attempt a release. These seem likely to be Jenkins configuration issues rather than build problems, so I'm afraid Martin and Peter will have to look into it... Ok, it seems Mr. Jenkins was failing to build the Debian database package—because the needed files were incidentally deleted in commit 8a4aae0240c195d5c413d2401c2cb212d4cdbad2 … Right now it’s building and it’s already past the Debian database package so I hope that was it! Cheers Peter

Thank you, Peter! Could someone post the URLs of each of our Jenkins servers?

Hmmm ... no need, as it seems like the doc at https://wiki.tei-c.org/index.php/Setting_up_a_Jenkins_server which says it is out of date actually has the correct URLs: * Victoria = http://jenkins.tei-c.org/ * Oxford = http://jenkins2.tei-c.org/ * Paderborn = http://jenkins-paderborn.tei-c.org/ Are there other servers? Are there other URLs for these? (Yes, Elisa, I know there *will be* another server. :-)

Pretty sure Paderborn is jenkins2 now. Sent from my phone. On Jan 20, 2018, at 12:17, Syd Bauman <s.bauman@northeastern.edu> wrote:

What happened to mine was very weird: two of the jobs lost their git configuration completely. I think it could have happened during one of the frequent updates to the Jenkins git plugin. I've reconfigured them and the Documentation-dev job is running now. But I did notice on my own local machine that a problem with the debian tei-p5-database/debian/changelog file blocked my git pull; I had to delete the file to get it to pull properly. We'll see if that's aproblem down the line for P5-dev when it gets to it. Cheers, Martin On 2018-01-20 09:22 AM, Hugh Cayless wrote:
