Is this still on schedule for a beta release next month? I just had a quick look (using Firefox 60.1 on Ubuntu) : I am seeing a problems with button texts being displayed to the extent that the screen is unreadable (see attached screenshot)
Hi Lou,
The icons should be downloaded on the fly via CSS (here's the code
view-source:https://fonts.googleapis.com/icon?family=Material+Icons for
that). Perhaps you have some settings about web fonts that may be getting
in the way? I'm developing with Firefox on Ubuntu and haven't come across
this issue. Occasionally, however, I get "flash of unstyled content
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flash_of_unstyled_content" for the icons on
slower connections, which is annoying, so I will be looking for a better
solution soon.
I'm not sure what else to suggest for the icons at the moment, I'll keep
looking. But if you managed to get them working, a test from you would be
very helpful! Keep in mind that when uploading your own customization, only
ODDs in PureODD work; others should be rejected, but if you sneak a @source
attribute with references to previous versions of the TEI, it will load and
you may notice more erratic behavior.
All best,
Raff
