Ah. That would make sense! Change in the stylesheets ... bitten by that circularity again.
The ref/@target of that change to the stylesheets at the pull request we accepted at
https://github.com/TEIC/Stylesheets/commit/5e6c445b1dbe92c2d3d30ef0bfa951279...
just uses the @target in xhtml:a/@xhtml:href when we might need to sanitise it for things EPUB can't handle? Sounds like the @target is used in an xpath somewhere in the conversion to EPUB where it being a fragmentary identifier causes a problem.

Elisa, you’re right, there were some issues due to the DNS change but not the ones James mentioned. Nevertheless I kicked off new Travis and Jenkins builds to fix the DNS issues and hope the pub issues will magically disappear as well ;)
