Reminder: Doodle for monthly call and VF2F
Dear all, This is a reminder to fill in the doodle for the monthly Council call https://doodle.com/poll/edshymwhk3fhryg9?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link and the VF2F meeting https://doodle.com/poll/g8xrbfae5qanaean?utm_source=poll&utm_medium=link Thanks! Best, Martina
Hi Martina et al,
I've just filled in the monthly mtg poll and see that the only time everyone is available so far is 7 am on Fridays (that's 10 am EST, 3 pm UK, and 4 pm CEST, I think). If everyone who hasn't answered the poll is available at that time, then that's our likely meeting time.
I apologize for being incommunicado in the last three weeks (with particular apologies to Elisa, Helena, and Syd, with whom I'd hoped to work over the holidays). Our household was in the grip of a virus - almost certainly Omicron but our testing centres are so overwhelmed here that we were told just to act as if were Omicron and isolate.
Looking forward to working with you all in 2022!
With good wishes,
Janelle

Janelle,
So sorry you've been out sick! I don't have as good an excuse for failing
to try to convene our small task force. I have simply been resting and
reading and tinkering with things, and now am staring down the onset of
spring semester starting, eek, this Monday 1/10! But I'll pull us together
probably in two weeks on the other side of semester launch--I don't think
our task is very complicated.
And I hope that Friday AM time slot works out for us.
Cheers,
Elisa

Janelle — Best wishes to you and your family. Take care of yourselves first, of course. Apologies not necessary, but I do appreciate the update. May the Force be with you. While I believe I have so far dodged the Omicron bullet, my plans for work this break have also been stymied by health issues. Not to mention my dog and my wife, I am somewhat better now, but got almost nothing done at all for the entire week between Christmas and New Year (when I planned to get the most done, as I was mostly home alone)k, and not much since. The good news is I did make a lot of progess before Christmas; and Elli Bleeker is coming along well and has fixed her first ticket! Hazah!. The bad news is I am still not up to 100%, and don’t have much hope for a lot better than 50% for days to weeks. And getting hit with a blizzard tomorrow. Fridays at 07:00 = 10:00 = 15:00 = 16:00 works for me. ________________________________ So sorry you've been out sick!
