If it's simply preference, I'd always opt for Oxford, since it is very easy to get to (much easier, in fact than *anywhere* in the U.S.!), I know it well enough to navigate in my sleep, have friends there, and if the timing is fortuitous, I can combine a trip there with something else, e.g. the TATHS AGM during the first week of May. Have we written off Talinn? Or is that still looming as an option? pfs On Fri, Jan 30, 2015, at 13:54, Hugh Cayless wrote:
Lou asks in a comment on the poll whether we should assume this is happening in the US. We'd said that since we're going to try to have the Fall meeting in conjunction with the annual meeting in Lyon, we'd aim for the US.
I personally don't care that much about venue. For me, actually, College Park would be ideal because I can drive there :-). Oxford's nice, because I can stay with family. Boston is a pretty easy flight. I don't know about Ann Arbour—I've only ever flown into Detroit on my way somewhere else. Suggestions for venues are most welcome!

I've set up a poll at http://doodle.com/2qzywq8c379atu87 in the window April 13–May 15. Let's see what we can do, and I'll adjust as needed.
