I agree -- I didnt manage to get even as far as the first 120 lines before deciding this needed more work than I could spare for the moment. When I do though, should I start a new branch for my revisions of your improved version? That seems a bit mad. Shouldn't we have just one "under development" branch? I've made a number of edits to the first 120 or so lines of tei-pm.odd in the way of suggested improvements to the prose, in a fresh branch:

I think there's still quite a lot of polishing to be done here.
I also tried to build Simple, but the tests failed:
Validate Simple ODD against tei-pm RELAX NG [runjing] /home/mholmes/Documents/tei/Simple/xsimple.odd:292:29: error: element "title" not allowed here; expected the element end-tag or text
and many more similar. Can anyone else build?

Hi TEI Simple list and TEI Council list,
I've updated the prose of tei-pm.odd to be my suggested guidelines prose draft (incorporating many suggested changes from LouB), and regenerated the html files associated with that. If you want to read them see:
http://htmlpreview.github.io/?https://github.com/TEIC/TEI-Simple/blob/master...
(for the --summaryDoc version or for the full odd version see) http://htmlpreview.github.io/?https://github.com/TEIC/TEI-Simple/blob/master...
(with the caveat the htmlpreview.github.io sometimes seems to throw away the CSS, and sometimes it works fine *shrug*)
Council should feel free to update, correct and modify the tei-pm.odd file should they spot typos or corrigible errors.
