I don't think there's necessarily any implication the Council is responsible for maintaining them. There are a bunch of repos in there that are clearly temporary. That "pureodd" one, for example :-). The idea is to turn TEI XML directly into HTML5 Custom Elements, so your view is isomorphic to your source. This is what Raff was talking about doing with the documentation.
