Elli and I did a lot of research on AirBNB and have happily booked a spot or a really good deal pretty close to the venue--splitting costs each of us around 500ish for the week. We saved a wish list in the AirBNB app, but it is for places with 2 or 3 bedrooms. I'd recommend taking a look in AirBNB focusing the map on the district around our venue, and plug in your parameters--we were thinking there are a number of good spots to be found for solo travelers. I am flying out of the US, leaving Thurs and arriving Friday morning, and will take the train to Graz to take in as much of the Digital Editions as Interfaces conference as I can, then take the train to Vienna on Saturday evening. For Graz I found a good deal on a hotel nearby the conference by looking up hotels in Travelocity. Hope that helps, even if it is just an app recommendation rather than a price list! Has anyone done the legwork on the hotel pricing? it seems one has to check each one. Also, is the plan to meet starting Sunday morning?
