Dear Syd,
When you say "In the past we've met in Google Hangouts, but I understand some
folks want to move on to a technology that is not being actively
dismantled. Suggestions welcome."
This seems to misrepresent the situation. Although literally true it is because Hangouts has already been replaced with Google Hangouts Meet and Google Hangouts Chat. Two separate apps. The former (Hangouts Meet) is what we've been using for ages so there is no need for us to change any thing as far as I'm aware.
Just seeking to clarify.
Many thanks,
James

topics
------
1) Ticket 393.[1] Martin and I *think* we know where the problem is,
and have created a little ODD file for testing. See the ticket
itself for both of those.
2) Ticket 399.[2] Martin has posted where he thinks the problem is
on the ticket. If he's right (and I have no reason to believe he
isn't), I'm not sure I like his proposed solution. So this may
require some discussion. I will try to have a testing ODD up on
the ticket later today.
