Hi all,
just wanted to let you know that I'll be working on the migration of
tickets today, will report back with results later.

the way, 2 days later. I'm up to release 2.2. Starting to wonder if we
shouldn't just bite the bullet and move the repo when it's done (if it
looks ok), and wait on the tickets... Shall we call a commit freeze, then, for the next little while? I know we haven't formally decided on the move to GitHub, but we've been
behaving as if we have. Perhaps a final vote on the list ahead of a
ratification to go in the minutes during the telco would be a good idea? Cheers,

I don't know if I'm teaching at that point in the day.) -James On 18/08/15 18:34, Hugh Cayless wrote: With 8 participants and 7 available, Monday August 31st is the clear winner. Let's say 07:00 PDT / 10:00 EDT / 15:00 BST / 16:00 CEST? FYI, I'm trying out a "clean" export of the Sourceforge svn repo
(without
the svn metadata and with committer names and email addresses). It will
probably take a day or so to run, and I'll put it up on GitHub so we
can
see what the final product of the migration will look like. Raff, have you made any progress on testing ticket migration? If you
want
to try loading it up into
https://github.com/TEIC/Guidelines-TEST/issues,
go right ahead. I figure we'll nuke and re-create it at least a couple
of
times before we do it for real, so treat it as a sandbox. That actually
goes for everyone, unless you're happy with your Git knowledge already.
Play around with the repo. Push some random updates to it. Read the
README
and tell me what doesn't make sense. I'm very happy to do tutoring
sessions
with anyone who wants to get up to speed on this. All the best,
