At a first sight seems reasonable. As for including or not att.damaged
and deprecating @hand in <gap> <unclear> I would agree with you since
1) imho @hand implies (or should) an intentional act of writing that
results in a material and perceptible set (or continuum) of signs
2) there is @resp (now global) to assert the attribution of personal
agency to any material phenomena on a source
But I don't know how wide would be the damage to retrocompatibility
