I've already told Michael (although it doesn't seem to have made it to the ticket) that I'll be looking at these, and all of chapter USE, after I get through with CH.

So who on current council would like to dive in with a view on how to improve chap23? You really shouldn't leave all those tickets to me! e.g. https://github.com/TEIC/TEI/issues/1586
