Just to note: I'm not saying we shouldn't reinvestigate alternative forms of teleconferencing... I agree for example that seeing video / sharing screens can be quite useful sometimes... Just that getting something that works for everyone in all kinds of situations (wired, wifi, at home, at work, at conferences, reliability, operating systems, etc.) can be problematic, and also that if we do re-examine this that we should do it on board-council because (in considering paid options especially) iit would be better to do it for the consortium as a whole. While I like google hangouts for multiple video chat this is probably because I have google apps domain that my extended family uses. I have yet to experience the immediate and seamless tele-presence from any supplier, never mind 3D holographic or not, that the media of my childhood promised we'd have by now. I'm told we don't have long to wait now as Back to the Future Day approaches: http://www.october212015.com/ -James On 06/02/15 10:03, Fabio Ciotti wrote:
OK it seems to works even without having credit, or at least it asks the conference code. So we can assume this is the way to go with skype. Nice! Thanks Peter.

: Fabio,
have you tried calling +18669060040 from Skype? You can try now just to see whether you get a connection …

: Only I would like to have the chance to use the conf system from the net, since in many occasion one member can be in the situation of not having any wired phone at hand. So at least we could ask the company offering the service if they advice any best (or at least working) practice for this.
