Apologies, this thread slipped my attention at first.
I'm in the process of finishing a paper submission on att.linguistic and when I'm done, I would like to proceed with a promise that I made in the feature request, i.e. to prepare a new pull request with extended documentation. If it's OK with Syd and everyone, I would like to have at least two examples in the <w> spec, because of how <w> is encoded in the TEI usually: inline and pseudo-inline (which I call sequential) -- it's going to be a good opportunity to make a clear distinction between the two.
Like Peter, I am somewhat baffled by those validation complaints -- I was sure that since Peter had acted on green light from Mr. Jenkins, that merger was fully legit.
Best,
Piotr

Hmm, is this a new test you added? Because Jenkins was never complaining before … Anyway, if you could add an example, that’d be great! Thanks Peter

: Last month Peter (& Piotr) moved @lemma and @lemmaRef to a new class, att.linguistic. Good move. But in so doing, they removed all examples that were in the <w> tagdoc into the att.linguistic tagdoc, as all the examples of <w> happened to be associated with its attributes. We always want to have an example of some sort in a tagdoc, so validation is now complaining.
I hope to grab an example (probably from the Folger EMED) in a few mins, but if someone has a better one or one they particularly would like, feel free.
