I've never been to College Park, so I'm neutral there, but I've been to Ann Arbor a few times and it's lovely. I'd vote for that. I liked Duke too, but it was a longer trip and it would be hard on Hugh to have two in a row. We could put Victoria on the list, but booking a room around the time of DHSI (which is actually running for three weeks this year) would be tricky; we might end up in a hotel downtown or something. And it would be very expensive and time-consuming from the travel point of view. Cheers, Martin On 15-01-30 10:54 AM, Hugh Cayless wrote:
Lou asks in a comment on the poll whether we should assume this is happening in the US. We'd said that since we're going to try to have the Fall meeting in conjunction with the annual meeting in Lyon, we'd aim for the US.
I personally don't care that much about venue. For me, actually, College Park would be ideal because I can drive there :-). Oxford's nice, because I can stay with family. Boston is a pretty easy flight. I don't know about Ann Arbour—I've only ever flown into Detroit on my way somewhere else. Suggestions for venues are most welcome!
