I'm keeping a close eye on things but am getting a bit worried. UMD announced yesterday that they are discouraging all non-essential travel (and have cancelled all Spring Break and Summer 2020 abroad programs). Travelers are asked to self-isolate for two weeks following international and personal travel, which I won't be able to do after our F2F due to my teaching responsibilities. 

Looking forward to catching up with where everyone is at with this at our next Council meeting!

United Airlines announced that they will be waiving changing fees for flights booked in march. They fees will be waived for 12 months. 

I'll look into taking advantage of this for the F2F trip, if costs are reasonable from DC. 

Hopefully other airlines will follow, but let's hope we just get to see each other in May!
