Hi, everyone,

I will absolutely be joining these meetings in the future, but I am unfortunately (or fortunately?) giving a talk at MITH tomorrow morning & afternoon so I'll be spending the early morning getting everything settled with my collaborator.

So sorry to be missing it!

Wishing you fun chasing some bugs :)

Hi all,

Unfortunately since we've set these times for the stylesheets meetings, I've signed up for something between 8 and 9 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'll try to join late tomorrow.

Hi Syd,

Yeah, I've long outsourced my life to Google the way some do to Apple or Microsoft.

Indeed one can use our both by app (that sounds right to me) and Web. I find the Web version more reliable to be honest but video conferencing never works well on my phone regardless of what sort.  ;-)

I've consultation hours at that point so may have students showing up occasionally so may come go. Apologies to everyone if that is the case.

Many thanks,
James

Thanks for pointing that out. I am (almost) a complete Google
Ignoramous, so am very happy to hear that my perception of reality is
a bit skewed and we can keep using the Google Thing we've been using
before.

But I note your use of the word "app", implying that there is a
smartphone app I could run to join the conversation on Tuesday. (I am
afraid there is a good chance I will not be at a computer.) I have to
admit, that thought had not occured to me. I just tried to find it
... is it "Hangouts Meet by Google"?

I suppose I could try https://hangouts.google.com on Safari on my
phone, but that sounds a bit odd.
