I would like to respond to the TEI-L regarding our request for feedback on nesting TEI and deprecating teiCorpus, and thank them for the discussion. In light of the discussion I believe the nesting TEI is off the table for the upcoming release. I’ll set this on the agenda for the F2F meeting in Graz.

Furthermore, I want to propose to dedicate the Monday afternoon in Graz - which is the last day of our F2F meeting - to the standoff discussion and ask the original proposers (and perhaps others who were involved with the discussion) to join the meeting if they happen to be in Graz early. This could be a break-out group, while other Council members not directly involved in the discussion could continue to work on other issues. A half day is certainly not enough, but that could lead to a follow-up workshop, as we had already considered.
