I am currently working on the release notes and found some things in standoff:

1. <standOff> is defined in the textstructure module but the fourth bullet point in textstructure says that it is defined in the linking module and refers to section 16.9.2 The standoff Container, see

2. In the <standOff> spec
   1. The description of an element in <desc> usually starts with a lower-case letter (functions as a container …)
   2. There should be a reference to the GLs in the element description, eg. to SA.html#SASOstdf
