Hi Janelle!

Many thanks for the quick response.Apologies for not having contacted you sooner -- I wasn't aware exactly who was on this work group, though I have mentioned my interest to both Hugh and Martina I think. Has the workgroup progressed to the point of making concrete proposals yet? Can I join the conversation? I am deliberately restricting my current thinking to the TC minutes only because they are a well defined but I think interesting corpus in their own right: but obviously whatever solution works for them should work for other kinds of resource too.

There is a TC working group (Hugh Cayless, Martina Scholger, and Janelle Jenstad) currently addressing where and how we store minutes and documentation. We aim to standardize and document practices. We’ll read your blog post and take your thoughts into account.

I understand that there is some interest amongst some council members in defining a more appropriate format for the TC's minutes than the WordPress files currently used. Readers of my personal blog at https://foxglove.hypotheses.org (if there are any) will know that  I have been banging on about this very topic for the last few weeks; others are cordially invited to give said blog a quick glance, just in case it's of interest to you too. And if anyone cares to put their head above the parapet and confess to sharing my concerns, or has already thought through and solved the whole problem, then I would like to meet you!
