Greetings, Council!
We've now heard from each of you and we have a new meeting time for at least the next four months: the second Friday of each month (starting Friday January 13):
 6:30 - 8am PT | 9:30 - 11am ET | 2:30 - 4pm UTC |  3:30 - 5PM CET.

I've plugged these into the TEI-C Google Calendar (through August, though we will revisit the times in April in case we need to change them). And we have a new Council Zoom meeting room that I'll circulate with the January agenda.

Happy New Year!
Elisa

Dear friends,
For those new to the TEI Technical Council, we maintain a tradition of meeting for 90 minutes in the second week of each month. It’s now time to set a regular meeting time in our calendar that works for all of us in the multiple timezones represented by our 2023 Council. Based on input from most of you, I’m using When2Meet to help set our new schedule. This When2Meet poll is based on the week of January 8 - 14, the second week of January. Before we begin, I ask that you:
  • Please answer the poll to represent your general availability over the next few months, through the end of April.
  • Please be sure to select your timezone in the dropdown menu on the poll.
Here is the poll: https://www.when2meet.com/?18064520-EtdUD

We do need everyone to respond fairly quickly so we can schedule the January meeting! Can you all please respond to the When2Meet in the next 5 days, by December 27? (We may figure out the meeting dates well before then if everyone responds quickly.)  Thanks, Council!

If you have trouble with the poll, please reply to this message on the Council mailing list  or send me an e-mail at eeb4@psu.edu and let me know what’s up! We’ll sort it out.

Thanks, everyone, and happy holidays! See you next year!
Elisa
